In depth

Verdict

This looks a good bit weaker than the first division. Mossgo has been going well on artificial surfaces and has the beating of Argent Touch on the form book, though has won only one of his 14 starts on Turf. New Leyf was beaten in a claimer at Redcar last time and is having his first run over 5f at the age of nine but Harrogate Fair is speedy and would have a chance on his best form while Humour won at Wolverhampton before finishing seventh over this track and trip 10 days ago. With the blinkers back on, OIL STRIKE ran a lot better at Wolverhampton in March. He's now 8lb lower than his last winning mark so gets a tentative vote.
