Verdict

DARMA scored here last time under the apprentice of the season, Josephine Gordon, and the combination must go well again if in the same mood. She remains lightly-raced for a 4-y-o and can maintain her progression, although this does rate a tougher contest. Operative is not ruled out for the in-form De Giles team and Magical Effect will surely improve on just his fifth career start in three seasons. The latter went well on his first start for Ruth Carr after leaving Godolphin and is of real interest, whilst Yosemite is another intriguing contender in an interesting sprint. The Fahey filly has been absent since landing a maiden auction contest at Goodwood last October and the market should point to her readiness for the task ahead on her comeback run. Magical Daze and Summer Chorus are also noteworthy in an open contest.
