      Verdict

Eccollo, Fort Augustus and Shy Glance are all of interest first time out but lack of a previous run for these three-year-olds is of some concern and a safer bet looks to be Ninth House, who is preferred to a host of now exposed rivals. The selection has only had one start so far but showed plenty of promise when third in a Windsor maiden in June and should be fit enough on his return to beat his main rivals here. Copper Bay is interesting dropping back in trip having failed to stay 1m6f last time and makes more appeal than Peter Chapple-Hyam's Suivez Moi, who has been placed five times in his career but is no better than his current rating of 68 would suggest. Quatre Saisons has a bit to find on official marks but is open to improvement, while Mutamaasek and Mineko are others who have had plenty of chances and are becoming expensive to follow. Godolphin's Eccollo appeals most among the newcomers but lack of a previous run at this stage is of concern and a safer bet looks to be Ninth House, who gets the vote.
