Kirkhammerton, The City Kid and Fire At Will are three against the field in a poor seller and the vote is given to Kirkhammerton. The selection was a fair third behind Surawaki last time out in a claimer. This looks easier and he need only run up to that mark to score. The City Kid rates the main danger on his latest third behind Chant de Guerre, however all his best form is on fast ground and he is hard to fancy on ground as testing as this. Fire At Will is another worthy of respect as he is dropping in class and could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers. He hails from a shrewd yard and should be watched in the market. Ruby Legend has the ability to go close off this mark but he has been disappointing of late even if the booking of Jamie Spencer does look to be a positive today. This is a trappy affair but Kirkhamerton makes most appeal and is given the vote.
