Verdict

Avid Spell, Attraction and Willhefly are the ones to catch the eye on breeding and it would be something of a surprise if anything else proved good enough. the vote goes to Avid Spell, who comes from the same family as the 1000 Guineas winner Wince. A March foal, he should be well forward and can give Roger Charlton a winner with his first juvenile runner this term. Attraction, a half-sister to juvenile winner Aunty Mary, is from a stable that is beginning to hit form and is very much respected, while Willhefly, a half-brother to the speedy Willhewiz, has the best of the draw and that will be a big plus in this field of inexperienced individuals.
