In depth

Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute's runners have started the campaign well and if Telesto looks the part in the paddock he is sure to be backed off the boards. However, a slight worry is his temperament as he was difficult to load into the stalls in his last outing at Doncaster last September. There may be some value to be found in Roger Charlton¿s Climate Control if he can improve on his effort behind Mubaah last time out. He is out of a dam that is a half sister to 2,000 Guineas winner Zafonic, and is one to view with an eye to the future, whatever happens.
