Verdict

Catcall beat Gammarth by a head at Fontainebleau last time and both are preferred to Tulips but foreign raiders have had plenty of success in this recently. Monsieur Joe and Stepper Point are course and distance winners, with the former is preferred on today's terms, while Place In My Heart won a Listed race at Bath on her reappearance. Humidor makes more appeal than Bear Behind and Move In Time but the Irish sprinter MAAREK will take the beating. David Nagle's charge won a Group 2 at Ascot last year and carried 10st to victory in a Listed race at Naas on his reappearance. At his best in soft going, there should be just enough juice in the ground for him to get the better of today's rivals.
