    Verdict

Schindlers Son takes a significant step up in trip today but that should bring about improvement in Peter Bowen's gelding, who is taken to add to his handicap success at Uttoxeter and take this with the main dangers rated as Strobe and Final Veto. The last mentioned appreciated the longer trip when landing a novices' hurdle at Hexham last month, doing his best work late on in the race, so the even longer trip here should be of no problem to Tom Tate's gelding, who has to be respected. On My Terms has shown winning point-to-point form and makes more appeal than Humourous but a bigger threat is likely to come from Strobe. The four-year-old comes here fit from the flat and has shown enough in previous limited opportunities over hurdles to suggest that he could win a race of this nature. Schindlers Son has solid claims though and is hard to oppose.
