Gordon Elliott is the latest trainer to try and get another win out of Broughtons Bandit. The eight-year-old only found one too good at Ballinrobe last month and finished third at Downpatrick on Friday but is usually worth opposing. Quest Magic came back to form with a second at Cartmel last month while Seventeen Black had Jackofhearts and Marlee Massie behind when winning at the track two runs ago and was only beaten half-a-length at Hexham subsequently. His trainer also runs Hatton Springs, who was second on the Flat at Ayr recently, but the handicapper has given a chance to WOT A SHOT.
