    Verdict

EMOTIVE showed enough last time to make him the pick today and he is nominated to get the better of Locked Inthepocket and King Roonah. It was a good effort from our selection to chase home Baltic Pathfinder at Hexham earlier in the month. The longer trip seemed to suit that day and he tackles even further today. Locked Inthepocket looks the main danger as he has placed form over hurdles and he showed enough on his chase debut last time to suggest that he should be capable of getting competitive today King Roonah would have claims on the pick of his Irish form but his last couple of runs have been disappointing and more will be required if he is to get his head in front today. Dallas Bell won on his chase debut at Hexham but this faster ground could be a negative for him. Another open event and the vote is given to Emotive.
