Verdict

Recent point-to-point winner Scrum V was only third in this last year when starting joint favourite. SPECIAL PORTRAIT won at Sedgefield and was second at Hexham last month before unseating his rider in a competitive affair at Cheltenham. His form appears stronger than that of Kelso winner Chanceofa Lifetime, though the latter is still preferred to stable companion Indian Print, Chandos and Royal Chatelier.
