Verdict

An above-average hunter chase featuring some tried and trusted performers. CREEVYTENNANT may be a teenager but he beat Kilbree Kid on worse terms in a handicap here in August. Subsequent runs were over hurdles and he should take all the beating if fully wound-up with Lilly Pinchin taking off 7lb. Mendip Express was a smart performer in his day and gained a morale-boosting victory at Hexham last month. He gets 4lb from the selection and rates a danger. Cultram Abbey beat two rivals over track and trip last month and has every chance at the weights and Double Whammy has won five times over fences, but has been off the track for almost 12 months.
