In depth

Verdict

Several of these arrive in decent form and it's not difficult to imagine the consistent King's Chorister being in the firing-line again under Lucy Alexander. Groovy Dancer should be winning soon but the four-year-old Cadore may have too much weight and Toledo Gold was put 11lb following a narrow win at Carlisle. The ground was probably softer than ideal when PARSON'S PUNCH was only third here last month. Both hurdles wins have come on good going and he has conditions in his favour today. Lucy Normile's gelding gets the vote ahead of Lap Of Honour and Endeavor.
