Verdict

NEWTOWN BOY (NAP) won off a 5lb higher mark the last time he raced in this grade. Though last of six when returning from a lengthy absence at Kelso last month, he wasn’t beaten far and will strip fitter today with his rider’s 5lb claim a further positive. Well Planted has gone up 7lb for a recent course and distance victory but is progressing and looks a danger along with Swinging London, highly tried last season after landing a Fakenham maiden. Malangen may be best of the rest.
