In depth

Verdict

True Temper has done well for connections in point to points this year and comes from a yard that do well in these races and is taken to win again at the expense of Majed and Iron Express. The selection did win under rules last time out when getting his head in front at Kelso. He has been running well all year and even though at the age of ten he still looks to be improving. Majed is another that has been winning between the flags. He was at one time a good horse for Pipe and then Nicholls but has since seen his form dwindle. His last run under rules was moderate though and it ramains to be seen whether his enthusiasm is still in tact. Iron Express won a few or George Moore a few years ago and has been running well in points this year but once again the form is tricky to read and is possibly best watched. So for the winner we return to True Temper.
