In depth

Verdict

Ghost Serge was second to a previous winner at Cartmel when finishing 10 lengths ahead of Good Boy Alfie, who didn’t appear to get home but BRANDY JAMES chased home more experienced rivals on debut at Worcester and the fourth was second at Plumpton on Monday. Harry Whittington’s charge looks the one to be on here as stamina could be an issue for newcomer Moltoir, though the latter did win on the Flat at Beverley in June off a mark of 72.
