Verdict

Bumper winner The Cockney Mackem has been well backed in all three starts over timber but doesn't appear to be progressing and, though this probably won't take much winning, Nigel Twiston-Davies' charge may be worth opposing. Nodelay wasn't disgraced in a mares maiden hurdle at Navan last month while Definite All Star has shown signs of ability on several occasions, though ran a shocker at Clonmel earlier this month. COOLBEG pulled too hard when only fourth at Fontwell last time but Tom George's charge should be suited by this shorter trip and his stable is in better form now.
