Verdict

Ultra Light and Forget And Forgive represent a decent Irish challenge for this contest at opposite ends of the weights. The former gained a first career success in a modest Bangor handicap over hurdles last time but does have some fencing experience whereas the latter tackles larger obstacles for the first time, and he'll be dangerous off this mark if taking to his new discipline. Jawaab has been running really well under both codes and did so well to land a Southwell handicap hurdle off topweight but is another making his chase debut and, consequently, is hard to assess. Merry Minster remains a maiden under Rules and Gleann Na Ndochais is starting to look exposed so the vote goes to ROC DE PRINCE, lightly-raced under NH Rules. He put up a good first effort over fences here behind the potentially very useful Imjoeking and should give a good account if building on that initial promise.
