Ballyvoneen, Bally Gunner and Ballyman will all have their supporters in this, the latter having made a promising reappearance behind TRUCKERS BENEFIT over C&D two weeks ago. He's 6lb better off now but Tim Vaughan's seven-year-old has more scope and is fancied to confirm placings and double up in this. Goring One usually goes well here and must be worth a second look but Whistling Senator's previous efforts over fences didn't offer much encouragement and he's been well below his best over hurdles recently.
