Goonjim started favourite at Exeter last month but was a beaten horse when crashing out at the last. Winning pointer Brice Canyon is proving consistent under Rules but is not getting much help from the handicapper. He was beaten seven lengths by CLONUSKER over course and distance two runs ago and, though worse off at the weights, the latter can continue his love affair with this track by getting back to winning ways after finding one too good last time at Lingfield. Katarrhini and Jappeloup may prove the pick of the remainder.
