Bostin was second in this two years ago and won later here over 2m4f but he was a long way behind Minella Gathering over course and distance two weeks ago. Paul Henderson’s charge is only 4lb higher today so a follow-up is not out of the question but the less-exposed MIDNIGHT TUNE makes more appeal. The step up in trip should suit this daughter of Midnight Legend, who makes her handicap debut at a modest level. Jebs Gamble is another having his first run in a handicap but he’s been well beaten in all races to date, including when behind the selection in a bumper here last season.
