Verdict

Krakatoa King came here last month with three very moderate bumper runs behind him but very nearly snatched the race from Murryana, who was receiving 7lb. He should improve further and have no problem reversing form with the winner on these terms but this should prove comfortable for KING EDMUND (NAP), who makes a quick reappearance after a facile victory on heavy ground at Lingfield on Saturday. He was gaining his first success over timber there but had been going well over fences and should complete a quick double. Onwiththeparty landed a Sligo bumper for Charlie Swan last October and has joined Paul Nicholls and should improve markedly for his opening run over timber at Chepstow. Stratford bumper winner Minnie Milan could prove best of the remainder with her allowance.
