Verdict

KRISTALLO tended to run in snatches when well backed over 2m4f at Uttoxeter earlier this month. As that was only his second start over the larger obstacles, he may still be open to a little improvement and this big step up in trip is certainly in favour. Peter Bowen's six-year-old gets the nod ahead of Aghill, though Lawney Hill's stayed wasn't beaten far when favourite off this mark over 3m6f at Cartmel last time. Breaking Silence may have too much weight but Tucumcari didn't fare too badly when third at Fontwell last time and has place claims again.
