      Verdict

      Ben Brody was no match for the progressive Hasankey at Fontwell on Boxing Day but still finished a long away ahead of Flaminger, who has become very disappointing. Gary Moore’s other runner, Elisezmoi, has plenty to prove as well but Enrichissant has plummeted down the weights, though remains out of sorts. EN COEUR’s two career victories have come over course and distance and he never seems to run a bad race here so gets the nod receiving 17lb from narrow Sedgefield winner Blueberry Wine.
