    Verdict

A modest opener and SUFAD is our pick ahead of Sainglend and Sawpit Solitaire. Gary Moore's charge had a fair card in Ireland and was not disgraced when making a hurdling debut at Sandown. At 35000 guineas, he was one of the more expensive purchases and it will be interesting to see if Harry Findlay's money is on today. Sainglend is in good heart following a win on the flat at Windsor and a second at Warwick on hurdling introduction. Sawpit Solitaire is rated in three figures by the assessor. She is in receipt of the fillies allowance but it would be disappointing were she good enough to win this. Looter was well turned over in a similar event at the track. Ray Diamond was a plater on the flat whilst Highly Regal failed to build on the promise shown in a Lingfield event in May. A race that should not take too much in the way of winning and SUFAD puts all the ticks in the right boxes.
