Mr Muddle has plenty of scope but could just need this after a long absence. On Khee went a long way clear on his debut for David Pipe at Taunton but was weakening when falling. Ridden with more restraint he can get competitive while the four-year-old Fulgora had no chance in a Grade 2 last time after two minor victories and is probably on a fair mark. Songsmith, from the same age group, gained an impressive victory over the C&D last month and a 13lb higher mark shouldn't be enough to prevent another big run but SPEED STEED looks the one to be on after he produced easily his best run so far over timber at Market Rasen last Sunday.
