Weebill ran quite well in a Southwell bumper on his racecourse debut and again on soft ground at Market Rasen when making his hurdling bow. He should make further progress and his stable remain in tremendous form. Paddy's Poem showed his first sign of ability over timber when third on heavy going here three weeks ago and conditions will be in his favour again but stable companion Canyouringmeback, who won a point on heavy going in October, probably needs a stiffer test of stamina. Gary Moore's recent acquisition DISTINGO won twice on the Flat in France and may have won over hurdles at Auteuil in November but for unseating his rider at the last. He looks the one to be on in a moderate opener.
