    Verdict

Irish Boy was put up 4lb after beating Rothesay Chancer at Musselburgh but the runner-up advertised the form next time and Noel Wilson's charge has to go on the short-list here, despite an outside draw. But we'll take a chance on the fitness of RHAL, who has been rested since disappointing at Newcastle in May. He can be forgiven that effort, which came at the end of a busy few weeks, and his ability to stay further will stand him in good stead on this stiff track. Lady Royale had Mr Mo Jo behind when runner-up at Redcar last month and is back on a decent mark. She also makes plenty of appeal and has more scope than maiden These Dreams.
