Comptonspirit won this in 2011 but didn't run quite so well a year ago. He's best on very fast ground so connections will be hoping the going firms up. Chosen One has won 11 races and is always likely to pop up when least expected while Come On Dave is better off with Mr Mo Jo despite beating him at Catterick last August. Phoenix Clubs likes some give in the ground and Planetex was well beaten when favourite at Carlisle on Monday so a chance is taken that top weight BRONZE BEAU can repeat the performance he produced on his last start here when just touched off by Haajes.
