In depth

Verdict

Just the seven runers but a very competitive handicap. Russki and Ella Woodcock come here in excellent winning form, however on this occasion we will side with Heroes. Geoff Huffer's charge deserves to land a race of this nature, having finished runner up on his last three outings. the latest was in a stronger contest at Newmarket last week. off the same mark today he should be capable of going close. Russki won with plenty in hand under today's rider at Warwick and looks the type to progress further. Meanwhile Ella Woodcock has been a revelation recently and is chasing his fifth win on the bounce. It is hard to easily discount any of the other four runners either, so in a wide open event we will just give a tentative vote to Heroes.
