Verdict

See And Be Seen won last year’s renewal off today’s mark but arrives in poor form. BULAS BELLE is preferred as she won over a slightly shorter distance here earlier in the month by five lengths and is taken to confirm the form with the runner-up Waterclock, Riptide, Hartside and Madam Lilibet. Waterclock may prove the biggest threat once again on these better terms though the veteran Hallstatt is holding his form well having placed in both subsequent starts since winning at Nottingham. It was testing ground when Almost Gemini scored over track and trip in April but he never figured at Musselburgh last week.
