In depth

Verdict

Mutafaakir should be forgiven his effort at Haydock as he didn't get the best of runs and is best judged on his two earlier performances which would give him a chance. Ayasha dead-heated over the track and trip and performed with credit with a 6lb rise at Hamilton so should get into contention but HOLY ANGEL gets the nod. Regular rider Rachel Richardson almost got him home at Carlisle a couple of weeks ago and though not a regular winner Tim Easterby's charge is well enough treated these days to come up trumps. Secret City is only 4lb higher than for his victory at Thirsk in May and will be looking for his seventh success on his 40th start.
