    Verdict

TOMFRE gets a 7lb allowance under the race conditions and that negates a penalty incurred for winning at Newmarket last month. Ralph Beckett’s colt can take advantage and go in again at the main expense of Sword Beach. The latter has found one too good at Salisbury in both outings so far and should be in the mix once again. Richard Fahey sent out last year’s winner and Pop Dancer is related to a winner while Spiritofthenorth is a half-brother to a winning sprinter and preferred to Hooroo of the other newcomers.
