A poor but competitive contest with plenty of the 20 runners holding claims. Among those worthy of a mention are recent Chepstow winner Pageant, who has 6lb penalty to carry for that success, another last time out winner Flow Beau who has been done few favours by the draw in stall 16 and Rae Guest's Another Time who has slipped to an attractive mark. Scented Air for who Pat Eddery has been booked to ride, course and distance winner Weetman's Weigh and the unexposed Rock The Nation are others to consider but the TEAMtalk selection is Nigel Tinkler's Cripsey Brook. The four-year-old has shown signs of a return to form recently and, having slipped to a winning mark, is worth chancing from a good draw.
