        Verdict

        In the opener, Hurricane Flyer is selected ahead of Pegasus Dancer, Perlachy and Kilcusnin Queen. Hurricane Flyer finished second on his debut at Thirsk suggesting that a race of this nature is well within his grasp. He is very much respected. Emirate Isle was not beaten too far on his debut, but it was a six-runner affair that is a little hard to assess. Kevin Ryan's Pegasus Dancer is one of the interesting newcomers, while Perlachy, who has been placed second or third in five of his last six races, sets the benchmark for the form and is respected. Irish raider Kilcusnin Queen showed plenty of promise on her Tipperary debut and is another to consider but the percentage call is to side with Hurricane Flyer, who is the selection.
