Verdict

A tough start for punters and the most tentative of votes goes to WOTEVA ahead of Dougie Peel and Chilly Filly. The selection comes here on the back of a decent third at Ayr on very soggy ground. That was in a competitive nursery and he ran with credit, so with conditions perhaps more suitable today he should run well with the cheek-pieces on once again. Chilly Filly is consistent and along with Dubai Crest needs respect, whilst Fastnet Storm ran in a good contest at Newmarket last time and may be happier back up north. Dougie Peel continues to win poor races and is pretty game, as is Sharp Sovereign who showed a good attitude to get on top last time at Beverley. A competitive heat, with preference for Woteva.
