        Verdict

        Blinkers replace a visor on Star of Rory, who is having only third start of the season and was only beaten half-a-length by Awake My Soul at Haydock last time. That winner is trained by Tom Tate, who runs EMPRESS ALI in this. She’s a likeable mare who wins her fair share and is suited by soft ground. Carnageo beat Indian Chief and Dance King at York but is no certainty to confirm that form on worse terms. Royal Shaheen has a penalty for a recent win over course and distance but is not out of this, though steps up a grade.
