DOGORA, who has been placed three times at Grade level over hurdles, was expected to make a winning debut over fences at Gowran but fell at the second last when travelling well. He made plenty of errors previously and will obviously need to jump better but looks a nice recruit to chasing. He gets the age allowance from the high-class hurdler Bright New Dawn, runner-up to Champagne Fever in the Grade 1 Deloitte at Leopardstown in February, and along with his fitness advantage that may be enough to se him home. Sizing Gold has come up against some classy opponents over hurdles and beat Morning Assembly in a Leopardstown maiden last December. He's always been more likely to make a chaser and has to be respected. Formidableopponent made a bright start over fences at Gowran and is another to keep an eye on in an interesting race.
