Calzini Bianchi made a promising start in a Down Royal bumper when runner-up to Robin Des Mana though the winner has done nothing for the form since transferring to hurdles. Barrow Valley ran a reasonable race when third at Thurles in February but was well beaten over timber at Clonmel later. Mozilla produced a decent run when returning from a long break at Tramore in June but was well beaten at Killarney the following month so this looks destined for a newcomer. Gordon Elliott has two entered and both have very smart pedigrees. BABY TWIG is a half-sister to two winning bumpers in France while Strike Is Back is a half-sister to six winners including a couple of bumpers. Both could be useful and the former only gets the vote by virtue of being a year older.
