Trimbellina, rated 116 over timber, jumped like an old hand on her chasing debut at Limerick and was well clear when falling at the last. She will be fancied to gain compensation though this does look a tougher race. Total Victory has gone 11 starts over fences without success though he's been very close to losing that maiden tag on several occasions and his experience will stand him in good stead. Glacial Promise is another experienced performer over the bigger obstacles who is in good form but one that may beat them all is the highly-ranked hurdler HEAD OF THE POSSE, rated 144 over the smaller obstacles after a second to Cousin Vinny at Fairyhouse and a cracking victory over Deutschland at Sligo. Another chasing debutant, Arabella Boy, finished third in that Fairyhouse event won by Cousin Vinny and has since run a fine race behind Rigour Back Bob is a Grade 3 here
