Verdict

Adreamstillalive has been in outstanding form in handicaps on testing ground but is now 29lb higher than when his winning run began and he's tackling better class opposition. VEINARD had been running well in top handicaps, including the Betfair at Newbury, before an even better effort behind the very useful Thomas Hobson in a Grade A event at Fairyhouse last week where he would have got closer but for being impeded at a crucial stage. If that hasn't left its mark, he should be up to taking this. Roconga won a couple of tough handicaps in the autumn and reappeared with a hard-fought victory on the Flat 10 days ago so he'll be fit and ready for this though Tudor City looks a bigger threat. Tony Martin's charge finally got off the mark over hurdles with an easy victory in a Fairyhouse maiden last weekend and had finished in front of the selection in his previous race, though he's worse off at the weights.
