Verdict

Derek O'Connor rode the winner for Harry Fry a year ago and has been booked for fellow UK trainer Ben Pauling's point-to-pointer Edwulf, who will need to have made great strides to take a hand. David Pipe loves to bring horses here so the presence of CHAMPERS ON ICE, who cost connections £205,000 after easily landing a point at The Pigeons, looks significant as does the booking of Jamie Codd and he's taken to foil the home runners. Arkwrisht has been beaten twice at very short odds but his trainer will have had plenty of options though First Figaro looks the main threat after a very promising run behind Space Cadet at Leopardstown in December.
