Verdict

Willie Mullins has won the last three of these with odds-on chances. A TOI PHIL had looked a very smart prospect with victories on testing ground at Leopardstown but disappointed behind Yorkhill at Cheltenham where the going may have been too quick. He gets the vote as though his stable companion Thomas Hobson has followed a very similar path he weakened quickly in that Cheltenham event after making the early running. O O Seven, beaten a couple of lengths by Yorkhill in the Tolworth at Sandown, looked likely to take a hand in the finish at Cheltenham but faded from the last. After two minor victories, Lift The Latch found Grade 2 company too hot at Fairyhouse while the four-year-old filly Jer's Girl was receiving lumps of weight from her elders when landing a Mares' Grade 1 at Fairyhouse. Disco was narrowly beaten by Bellshill in the championship bumper here a year ago and won his maiden over timber by a distance. The remaining duo have plenty to find but arrive in good form and there have been plenty of surprises this week.
