Verdict

Neither of the newcomers make any appeal so that should leave the way clear for PRINCESS PHEENY to open her account. Richard Fahey's filly attempted to make all at Newcastle on last month's debut only to be caught close home and will be a short price to land this. All of the remainder were well beaten on their respective debuts although Lady Captain met lots of trouble in-running at Pontefract and shouldn't be too harshly judged on that. Both Sullivan Park and Idamante showed early pace at Beverley before fading badly and may prove best of the rest.
