In depth

Verdict

Vive La Difference is lightly raced and makes his handicap debut. He's been placed in three maidens this season on ground with some give and shouldn't be far away again. GRINTY (NAP) is another three-year-old who has been knocking on the door lately. He has yet to finish out of the first two in three runs here so gets the nod with Bold Spirit edging up the weights again, though in good form. Edgar Allan Poe is still 5lb higher than when completing a double at Pontefract in July but Stubytuesday can get closer to the selection than he did here last month. Hitchcock, Point Of Woods and Break The Silence all won their penultimate starts but found one too good last time and are upped in class today.
