Both of Hidden Rebel's wins so far have come in lesser company and he might struggle to land the hat-trick. There are possibilities about Karaka Jack off this mark and Relight My Fire has been going really well at Beverley this summer and will be a threat if transferring that form to this more conventional track. Woody Bay has been creeping up the weights but is most consistent and a previous course and distance winner so should make his presence felt. OBSIDIAN has been thereabouts off this mark in better races of late. He doesn't have any form on ground as quick as this but there seems no reason why he won't handle the surface so he gets the vote.
