        Verdict

        First Bombardment has been pulling too hard and will need to settle if he's to challenge from top weight. Twentysvnthlancers has run three times at Beverley and looked on the upgrade there last time though Cape Crusader, who finished fourth, also showed some potential. Bahamian Bird has a nice pedigree and wouldn't need to be a world-beater to make a successful debut but LA ASOMADA looks the one to be on. She showed very good pace when runner-up at Musselburgh and can make enough progress to hang on this time.
