Piccolomini is well treated judged by official BHB ratings and should appreciate the drop back in trip but is hard to recommend on the evidence of that one previous run this term and preference is for Tallyhobye, who gets the vote ahead of Eijaaz. The last mentioned would have claims on the form shown when second at Bath two starts ago but he disappointed at Brighton subsequently and may now be best watched. Mark Johnston's three-year-old For No One is less exposed than his rivals but has given little cause for optimism so far, while True and Parchment face no easy task at the weights. Charlie Tango faces no easy task giving weight away all round, while Rudaki may well be better on sand than on turf. The vote then goes to Tallyhobye, who has solid claims on the pick of his form and he gets the vote in the hope that he can reproduce that.
