In depth

Verdict

LUCY’S LAW never threatened Rita’s Man over this trip at Ripon last month but has now proved she stays and she could cash in on the fact that she receives weight here from her three rivals. Fellow three-year-old Celestation ran a shocker last time at Nottingham but it would be no surprise to see Mark Johnston’s filly bounce back. Maulesden May was beaten in lesser company at Carlisle on Monday while Island Flame is fully exposed off this sort of mark.
