In depth

Verdict

Tim Easterby may hold the key to a fiendishly difficult contest and HIGH ROLLING is preferred of his two candidates. Despite retaining his maiden status, the gelding has posted a series of solid efforts and his reappearance run when second to George Benjamin at Thirsk over this trip reads well in the context of this contest. Stable companion Transmit was not at his best for most of last season but has dropped to an enticing mark, whilst Sea Salt wins in his turn, has a course success to his name and the champion jockey has been booked. Fleetwoodsands would have claims if translating his progressive all-weather form to turf.
